I wanted to create a special feature for Scandalous Beauty Blog readers. I’ll be creating makeup videos exclusively for the blog. They’ll remain hidden exclusives. Anywho, I created this video tutorial while prepping for my L’Oreal HIP guide for an upcoming Youtube video. I used the cream eyeliner in “Midnight Blue” all over the lid and Kohl liner in “Navy” in the crease! Enjoy!

Pantene is looking for real women (that’s us!) for their 2010 ad campaign. Apparently they did a casting call in three cities last year, but it was too limiting for start of a new decade! Is your hair so beautiful that you want to show it off to the world? Here’s the skinny:
Women will have the opportunity to upload videos July 1 through July 31, 2009 by visiting www.relaxedandnatural.com. All submissions will be evaluated and finalists will be flown for in-person casting in August. Final decisions will be made by September 15, 2009.
To be eligible, the following criteria must be met: Applicants can have hair that is relaxed or natural, but it must be healthy and beautiful Applicants must LOVE Pantene and be able to tell other women why Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live within the United States
The women who were chosen from last year’s casting call were given an all-expense paid trip to New York City to shoot the advertising campaign that appeared in national magazines in 2009. Good luck to all contestants!!!

This is a Twitpic from my boss, Jamyla. She’s one of those women that has a ton of hair, but wears it back all of the time. This is completely expected in her line of work. So, I have to say that I was FLOORED when I saw that she posted this pic of herself in the Oyin Store. Look at all of that hair!!!
Many people don’t know that Jamyla had locs, and combed them out. She then just let her hair do its own thing. She is a DIY girl, she relies on no one for her hair. This is pretty evident since you already know that she is head mixtress and owner of Oyin! I’m trying to think of a way for her to reveal her regimen for her hair. An interview, maybe?
I always tell her that her hair is crazy gorgeous! She’s a very humble and modest lady (with an infectious laugh, mind you) so she giggles away and keeps it moving. This is just a quick reminder that patience and nourishment can pay off!

I know, I’ve been slacking quite a bit with making tutorials. The look to the right is a look that I wore this weekend (Hey Eunice!) , which was quick, easy and effective! It’s a look that can be worn easily with a softer lip for work, school, or any time of day or night. BUT, you know me, and I was NOT going to let the look end there!
The key products for this look are MAC Patina eye shadow, Show Orchid lipstick and Funtabulous Dazzleglass. I opted for a matte face, since the focus of the look is the glossy lip. I used Make Up For Ever All Mat Foundation.
Oh, you know what else I love?! The lashes that I am wearing in the tutorial cost me $3, and were probably modeled after the $12 MAC #2 lashes. I LOVE these lashes, they are my favorite! If only they were easy to apply…
