Lea Michelle of Glee almost got robbed for her dress last night. On the red carpet, I wanted it. But while presenting with Ricky Martin, I needed it. She looked so awesome that she deserved the top spot on this post!
Here’s the Soul Inspiration herself, Anita Baker. I have no comment on this picture.
I have a few conflicting views on Rihanna’s dress. I really like for 8 seconds, then I think it’s confusing the next 10 minutes. I love the idea of the feathers. Her makeup was pretty, and hair was nice as well. So, I’ll just say she looked good. Nothing more.
Beyonce, Ciara, Fergie, and more under the cut.
I was disappointed in Beyonce. We’ve seen her look more red carpet ready going to dinner with Jay-Z. I understand the whole “naturally beautiful” thing, but I was just bored. Maybe she is trying to step back and let the new kids on the music block make the lasting impression. Or maybe she just had nothing else to wear. She was pretty, as always. I was hoping she would be outstanding.
Ciara, I don’t have enough time in the day to tell you what’s wrong with this outfit. The no-makeup makeup look was nice though!
Jennifer Hudson is melting those pounds away! Wow! Tia Dantzler did a lovely job, as always, perfecting Jen’s skin and making her look like a lovely lady! The 90’s bangs threw me a bit, but I’m pleased with the over all look!
I need to find out who does Mary’s makeup ASAP. She is taking this grown and sexy thing to a different level and it’s great. Her hair is always classy and makeup looks like butter. No more black and white wigs like in “Family Affair” (barf). The tattoo’s really take the look down a notch, but as the Queen says “Take me as I am, or have nothing at all”.
I still think Carrie Underwood was wearing a Kim Zolciak wig. Yes, I am referring to the ex-fiance of Big Poppa from Real Housewives of Atlanta. She shut me up during that Earth Song Performance though. I’ve got to buy one of her albums. Her voice was awesome!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Grammy review! I live tweeted the entire time, and it was quite interesting reading your tweets as well. See you during the Oscars!!!!

Your comments are so on point! I’m digging Lea Michelle’s dress as well. I’ve never seen a dress I’ve loved so much..
Ciara is confused. her make up I like.. The tattoo on Mary’s arms is distracting…
I think Jennifer Hudson looked better than everyone else there. And in my opinion she should stay at the weight she it currently at, she looks so healthy and glowing. I LOVED the bangs, not too many people can rock ‘em, but she definitely can. Maybe i just have a thing for styles from the 90’s though
Can you help me. What is the difference between NC50 and NW45/47. I am reading online that some people do both. Thanks!

Erin, I just wanted to drop some love on ya! I’ve been a faithful subscriber to your YouTube channel, and I appreciate your tutorials and tips. Thanks for spreading your knowledge, and I’m hoping to return the favor as soon as I get my degree in Nutrition! Your Grammy comments were on point, but I have a different perspective with Beyonce; I love the natural look she’s been rocking lately! She is a beautiful woman with gorgeous skin, and she looks younger, more rested and fresh with less makeup on. It was a stunning contrast, and her beauty was even more evident.
I agree with you…I was disappointed with Mrs. Carter’s red carpet pick! The dress is okay for a luncheon in her honor or something…not for The Grammys! This is the time for you to market yourself and I feel like she fell flat with that. Jennifer Hudson on the otherhand, looked stunning; although her dress was plainly black, the weightloss and the cinched waistline made up for it! Mary J doesn’t disappoint with that fuchsia number…her taunt body accentuates this outfit to the tee! Ms. Rihanna’s dress would have bedazzled me more if it was a shortened length but as always her hair was on point and her make up flawless!
