My Sephora Holiday Mini Haul

Wow, life with a newborn is no joke! It only took me close to three weeks to write this post. Hehe.

All I really wanted for Christmas this year was Sephora gift cards. I knew my makeup play time would be cut down severely, but that doesn't stop my love for beauty products. I've been looking for a really great quality, super dependable powder brush for awhile now.  I wanted to make sure that I got a really great, dependable, last-me-for-years type of brush. It took me over three weeks to place this order! I played with lots of different brushes that were on display, and once I made my decision, I couldn't find it in stock anywhere.

I bought the Sephora Pro #61 Powder Brush, which feels like a kabuki and powder brush in one. It's insanely dense, and I know it will give great coverage on my skin. I ran out of my Kiehl's moisturizer, so in true Erin form, I decided to test the waters and try something new. I purchased the Belief moisture set, that contains a gel moisturizer, serum and cleanser. My skin isn't in love with the moisturizer (yet), so I'll be purchasing the Kiehl's as soon as I can get to the mall.

As for samples, I cashed in a few of my points and got a deluxe sample of Dolce & Gabbana Intenso for Josh. I smelled this a while ago in a catalog insert, and I was hooked ever since. It's got the perfect amount of warmth and sex appeal, packaged to perfection. I also got a sample of the the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer, which peaked my interest! It has little gold specs in it, and feels like a more luxurious version of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. I can't wait to take it on a test run!
