MAC has come up with yet another formula of eye shadow! How many scientists in white lab coats work around the clock on this daunting task? The Electric Cool collection contains super silky shadows, possibly the silkiest I've ever felt.
However, I swatched it on my hand, and it wasn't much of anything. So yeah, I know, I preach about wearing a good base all the time. Wearing a base will almost always boost your shadow's coverage. I'm not wearing a base here (but I'll show you later).
I'm a spoiled consumer. I'm used to some products like the Wet 'N Wild palette, one swipe, coverage. Does this make me a hypocrite? Maybe. But I say this time and time again, I'd rather have too much coverage and use less product.
However...
I was sent one color to test out. Shades like this tend to be sheer no matter what formula or brand. Not always, but it's just something I've noticed. If I were to have had a taupe, a darker blue, etc., I'm almost positive the coverage would be better. I'm playing devil's advocate on this one.
