I was planning to do a big post on my L'Oreal HIP eyeshadows. The concentrated shadow duos are my go to shadows from the brand. I can't even tell you how many times I've used Brazen. On the other hand, I absolutely hate the crystal shadows. The texture is chunky and uneven, and I just avoid them when I can. The Matte Shadows are really great quality too. You don't have to add a whole bunch of product to the brush to get it to show up. I'll feature them soon.
While looking through my stash, I went for the Metallic Eye Shadow Duos. Then I swatched Platinum--and I squinted my eyes in blindness. Obviously that's a lie, but it sure is bright! I mean seriously, check out these shades on my hand, added by a simple finger swatch. They have no base. I didn't rub the shadows vigorously to get them on my finger either. One simple swipe left all of this pigment on my hand. For $8, you can get department store quality eye shadow, You can't beat that!
