Tracee Eliss Ross for JET Magazine

Ms. Ross has a style all her own, one that I love and think of as “everyday chic”. I’ve never thought of her as the stuck-up celebrity, but more as the homegirl type. Tracee covers the Oct 17th JET Magazine, and gives plenty of tips on her hair and style. She loves Urban Outfitters and Zara. My kinda bff!  I really like to see women wear red lips that aren’t super over the top (the way I wear them). It looks like the makeup artist just threw on a color, and it worked.

Dolce and Gobbana Beauty Smokey Eye Look

Want to know my go-to ‘night on the town’ look? It’s the non-smokey smokey eye. Dark all around the eye without all of the extra eyeshadow. Simple, and oh, so effective. Here’s the look at Dolce & Gabbana this week. Black and coffee eyeliners, plus eyeshadow quad in Femme Fatale were used for this look. Perfect Finish Creamy Foundation was applied all over face. The makeup team was lead by the one and only Pat McGrath.

I Love This Look: Kelly Rowland Rocks Orange Blush at Empress Event, Macy’s LA

Kelly Rowland Empress LABrown girls can never go wrong in orange blush, I swear! NARS Exhibit A, is my best guess for this look. I’m wearing it here in my African print dress. Kelly and Diddy promoted Empress in LA last week, and Kels was her awesome, glamorous self. Neutral lips + Smokey eye= A winning eye, every time!
