Becca Cosmetics Compact Concealer

Becca has a more extensive range of foundations and concealers than I have seen on the retail market.  During the Hautelook sale, I purchased “Hazelnut”. You can purchase this on the Beccacosmetics.com website ($38).  I didn’t really know if I would be able to use this color, I hadn’t tested it on myself.  Because the shade is so specific, it makes it a little confusing.  But on the other hand, when the color is right, you know it’s dead on!  When I opened the package, I thought it looked pretty consistent with my MAC NC50 foundation.  Well…

The image above shows that they are no where near the same color.  It’s funny, the NC50 actually appears fairly red.  When I applied it to the lighter parts of my face, my skin didn’t look any lighter or darker.  It just look right.  Don’t expect that concealer to make your skin look dewy, or matte.  It continues to make you look like your have better skin in an effortless way.
