I am SO ready to kick damaged hair in the booty! I have recently stumbled upon the Redken Extreme line, which will now be a constant part of my new regimen. As you may remember, I was a big fan of Aveda Damage Remedy. I ran out of most of the products, so I opted to try something new. “Chemical services, overuse of heat styling tools, and overexposure to the elements can all cause damage to hair, even to those blessed with great hair. Extreme helps to repair, fortify and protect from further damage.” Sounds like music to my ears.

Here’s the lineup..

Extreme shampoo: Formulated to treat weak and damaged hair with special care. It cleanses thoroughly yet gently to shield hair from additional stress.

Extreme conditioner: This unique conditioner has a special pH balance to restore damaged hair’s natural acidity for further protection, and it eliminates tangles and adds shine. Extreme Rescue Force fortifying treatment: Restores the correct balance of moisture to protein as it fortifies, reduces breakage and moisture loss, and adds resilience and great shine.

Anti-Snap Leave-In Treatment-A protein enriched leave-in treatment that fortifies damaged areas of hair while helping to prevent further deterioration or breakage.

Extreme Anti-Snap helps to combat wear and tear caused by chemical treatments, heat styling, and even the friction of brushing.

Extreme Deep Fuel Durable Strengthening Treatment-Chemical services, heat styling tools, and overexposure to the elements can all cause damage to hair, even to those blessed with great hair.

I’ve been using these products for over a month now, and I can see a huge difference in my hair. It’s stronger, there is much less shedding. I’ve been rotating all of the products. If you go to Ulta, you can buy travel sizes (aka trial sizes) of any of the products. I actually get excited to wash and treat my hair because I can tell that these products are repairing my hair!

    I’d been traveling for weeks, and my hair was whipped. I went to a stylist that used the Extreme products on my head, and it really worked.

    I’ve been using Extreme products for years. I really like them, but I often use another deep conditioner for more moisture/oil (so I’m curious about the Real Control and Smooth Down lines). But I’m not giving up my Anti-Snap leave-in!
