On a more wallet-friendly note, I picked up a few things from L’Oreal H.I.P. I like this line because it is innovative and at a good quality. I tend to shy away from drugstore brands sometimes, because I believe you get what you pay for. If I spend a dollar on a lip gloss, I could have used some Vaseline and kept it movin’. I got Giddy (Raspberry) and Precious (Pink Bronze) lip gloss, which I love. They are both staying in my makeup bag.

I also got the Bronzer in Radiant. It was more sparkle than bronzer, in my opinion. None the less, it gave my cheeks a nice little glow.
The navy eye pencil surprised me, the color was more rich that I expected. I really like pencils that I don’t have to stab myself or almost cut into my skin to use. This pencil is pretty darn good, and a perfect substitute for a black pencil.
Pure pigment shadow sticks didn’t tickle my fancy so much. They just didn’t deliever enough color for me. But if you are partial to soft color, it may be a winner for you.
L’Oreal’s website is intricate, to say the least. Hipcolor.com lets you view all colors, face charts, and you can even buy online.
